handle better and in some cases use less fuel than their
predecessors, they show that hot rodding is alive and
well right here in Louisville Metro, Kentucky and the

You can tell a little about the editor's history from the photos scattered
around the site. They come from the mid-70’s / early-80’s Muscle Car /
Street Racing Scene.
“Everybody had a car and no matter what it was, it had a V-8 engine
and a 4 barrel carb. The mindset was that the quicker and the faster
you could build it, the better. If that sounds like you then you've come
to the right place.
The whole idea was to dump as much gas and force or suck as much
air as possible without bogging down the engine and have as little back
pressure as possible in the exhaust system. There again, the bigger
the breather and the pipes, the better. As a matter of fact; you could
eliminate almost all of the back pressure with a set of headers and a
hack saw. Those were the days!”
