We were there! We got some good shots of
some beautiful street rods to post for you right
here!
There were awesome rides everywhere you looked
in the Louisville Metro Area all week long and we
were in the thick of it at the 38th Annual Street
Rod Nationals! I'm telling you it's a pleasure to
even sit in traffic around the Kentucky
Fairgrounds when the Nationals come to town.
Lots of pretty cars and pretty women.
Needless to say.......... It doesn't suck!!

Place: Rough River Dam State Resort Park. When: Saturday Sept. 15, 2007.
Times: Registration is 9 AM - noon day of show with a $25 Registration Fee. Judging
begins at
1:00 PM. (All times CT) 4 trophy classes & Best of Show Trophy! Up to $1,000 to the car
club with the most attendance!

We were some of the people
taking pictures and asking
questions! What a blast
hanging around some of the
best gearheads on the planet!
It's a great crowd to be in if
you are looking for auto parts
you can get everything from
brand new Edelbrock Products
inside (in the A/C) to a 1940
Tenn. car tag back outside at
the swap meet! Foose even
had some of his custom street
rods there.
By the way, I'm now a firm
believer in air conditioning in a
street rod after the 2007
Street Rod Nationals where it
was nearly as hot as the rods
as the temperatures neared
the 100 degree mark.
It goes against your time in
the quarter mile but, it's a
pretty swell option on a hot
summer day!
