Here we have the beginning of Readers' Rods! This page is the section where we post some of the photos of our Readers' Rods. Thus, the name. We thought that would be clever............. Send in your photos and they could be up the next day. The "Featured Cars" are monthly only, but, get much more coverage. So send in some photos of your Muscle Cars, Street Rods, Hot Rods, Rat Rods, Classic Cars, Race Cars, Pickup Trucks and Off Roading 4X4's. Sorry that we can't feature all of the cars but, if it's what we're looking for, we'll add it here on "Readers' Rods"!

I'm using the Dodge as an example of
the information we would like to have
from you when you send in your
photos. (and because I love my truck!)
We have a featured car or truck here
every month and will be adding other
Readers' Rods to check out as they
come in!
We strive to continually add new cars,
trucks and articles on cutting edge hot
rodding, good old fashioned common
sense & performance techniques! So,
pop open a cold one, enjoy our site and
add us to your favorites!
If you're thinking of buying some bigger
tires and wheels or you already have
and want to know how far off the
speedometer is or would be here's a
helpful page, Axle Ratio/Tire Size
Calculators.
If there's a question you have about
anything automotive from the best cam
size for your engine to the best
automotive speakers, send it in and we'll
see what our experts think about it and
post it right here on "Car Tag: Louisville
Metro, Kentucky Cars!" or Check out
our Message Board!
We'll see you at the rod-runs............

Downtown Louisville Metro, Our Old Kentucky Home!

Proudly located at the intersection of I-65, I-64, I-71 and the Ohio River!

Below is the Car Tag daily driver these Louisville
cityscape photos were taken from and it makes a great
parts hauler, too.
It's a 1995 short bed 4x4 Dodge Ram SLT with a
second generation 318 c.i. or 5.2 L engine, automatic 4
speed trans. It's breathes better than factory with cat
back duals and less restricted ram air update and gets
better than 16 MPG. Not great MPG but, that's better
gas mileage than it got when it was new and it is fairly
peppy!
I've bought some Monroe Reflex Shock Absorbers online
from our sponsors and after I get time to install them
and wash it, I'll get some better photos of this
short-bed Dodge Ram 4X4.
Here we have photos of one of the Seelye
Mustangs that Mo of "The Little Hot Rod
Shop That Could", is working on. He
just got this one running after it sat in a
garage for 15 years somewhat frozen in
time It's a 1968 Ford Mustang 289 V8
convertible. It's going to a fine young
man for his high school graduation.
That's gotta be one happy kid! Be sure
and check out the other Seelye Mustang
in The Garage! (It's a '66 GT)
Here we have a photo
sent in by m@m from his
archives of one that got
away, a 1969 Chevy Nova
SS 396ci /375hp 4 speed
car with 4.56-1 gears!
After a little photo-shop cleanup I enlarged the old photo (Feb. 1970)
and noticed a station wagon with one blue gum-ball-machine on top and
the huge siren on the fender! Too funny, they used to ride by my place,
blow the horn and wave! They knew where the street racers lived!
Growing up in the 70's was fun........ thanks for the memories, dude!
*This was before Louisville, Ky.
became Louisville Metro so it's a
County or Shively Cruiser! City
cars went from blk/wht to wht.
Here's another classic owned
by T. C. though a much later
model than his 1937 in "The
Garage". It's a muscle car, a
1986 Chevrolet Monte Carlo
SS. All original except the
wheels! We really need a
better shot of this one..........
Here we have M.S.'s daily
driver, a 2007 Ford XLT
with all the creature
comforts. It's a nice
truck but, we really like
his '72 Chevelle!
Bone stock!
This is Randy Clark's 1965 Ford
Mustang Fastback and this one
got it's own page. Read more...
